Mueller more than two months ago, my wife and I looked everywhere to find the perfect unit to house our components and rose only to 40 "LCD on the wall. We needed some dimensions of height, width and color and wanted to hide everything behind glass doors. This unit was perfect! I had two concerns with this unit though. 1) My Harmony 880 Universal Remote Control (buy one!) would not be able to penetrate the ground glass. 2) Enclosing my components ( the most important of the PS3 and the receiver) of a door can cause overheating.'m happy to report that none of my fears came true. The Harmony works through the doors of ice cream with ease. I am also happy to report that my constituents won " t overheat. My last step in the construction process was to attach the material to support the unit. Before doing so I tried to move the unit a little and was solid as a rock. As a result I left the unit to turn back, so everything is open in the back if I put my TV on the stand so I probably would have been installed with support, but I do not have the weight probably will not need extra support. Trinkle We bought this stand from Amazon with a little trepidation, having had bad experiences with DIY assemble furniture in the past ... especially items made in China. We were very happy, but with this unit. The materials used are of high quality MDF and all pre-drilled hole and the plug was in exactly the right position. (No off-center or gaps that are missing, like many previous articles we collected). The device is manufactured in Quebec, Canada, and the company is ready to improve the quality! The assembly manual is clear and understandable. Every picture in the manual to see how each part should be aligned with each hole pre-specified in the figure, this is very important because it allows for the assembly of a part of it wrong and have to start again. Each piece is clearly marked with a code that is mentioned in the manual and the company ships the unit with a number of additional items such as small plastic anchors ... "The only thing"! Assembly was easy and timed in exactly one hour ... including downing two cups of coffee during the installation! The description on the Amazon site shows how this limited basis for a 40 "TV, but we found our 47" Vizio fit (85 pounds) with no problem and looks great on the stand. (The manual gives a maximum weight of 185 pounds on the top shelf.) As others here have mentioned, the smoked-glass doors of the enclosure to the application of infrared remote control. We have a DirecTV satellite box in the closet and the remote works perfectly through the door. (See picture you've posted on this page with notes) PROS: - nice stand made from high quality materials - each piece is perfect and the instructions are clear and complete - infrared devices can be used to keep the electronics to 'inside the glass doors filled with smoke - Easy to assemble in about an hour neutral - plastic feet to wear after several move by sliding the base instead of increasing WITH: - No real C' is a note of unity very well done : This review is for the product and if I could, I'd give six stars. However, when I also deal with rating on Amazon this point I want three stars, because it covers the wrong shipping info: - I ordered the unit on 1 December with the first two days of shipment (with the caveat that Amazon reported a 2 - processing time from five days to the order page of the item) - 3 Track orders from Amazon in December that the matter had been shipped and the shipment is for 4 Planned in December - 4 and 5 December was no delivery, so I called to ask about the FedEx tracking number they said they had not yet met.
